Toilets etc back up on road across from Noccundra Hotel. Keep a watch on the weather. If it rains north of Noccundra the river rises quite quickly. Ask at the hotel and if necessary move from the river camp area up near the hotel.
Beautiful spot, but sorry to say we drove on in July 2009 due to Human excreta left lying along waters edge.
Assuming it's free as no cost mentioned. By Keen Observer

Turn west off A1 about 1k north of Dublin and follow road about 10ks to the forshore.
Turn right and about 200m on there is a small camping area. Room for 10-12 units on gravel sites.
Good water, picnic shelter, and flush toilets.
Some lighting at night. Short walk to a beach that unfortunately has extensive seaweed along it.
This also makes any fishing almost impossible.
Good quiet camp for a day or two if coming from the north and looking for a rest before heading to Adelaide or further south.
Ok for an overnighter if heading north out of Adelaide. Free By Jeffeather

A beautiful spot in the East Macdonnel Ranges.
Toilets but no showers. Water available. Rangers conduct regular talks Able to take caravans of moderate size. There is about 7 km of fairly rough road but OK in any van if you take it steady. Very rocky creek crossing. 2008 $3 pp per night By PhilipLong

This is #115 NT in the 4th ed of “Camps Australia Wide”. Located on Litchfield Park Rd, approx 66k South West of Batchelor. Set up by the National Parks, the campground consists of a series of one-way circular bitumen roads, with a grassed area or a toilet and cold shower ablutions block in the middle. There were 2 ablutions blocks. Campsite/caravan sites are cut from the bush only on the outside of each circle, reasonable level and paved with gravel/red sand, with at least equal sections of native bush separating one from the next. Campsite/caravan sites vary in size, some would hold only car + caravan, some 2 campervans, etc. The entry to each of these areas is “bollarded”, so careful manouvering is required. As advised elsewhere, you need to get there early to get to choose, particularly with a big caravan. Can't comment/didn't use the showers, but frequency of cleaning toilets needs to be increased. $6.60 per night per person honesty box By PhilipLong

Banka Banka is located approx 70klm north of Three Ways and has water, showers and toilets Banka Banka is not quite a free camp and not a caravan park it is sort of in between but is minimal cost and a top spot to overnight.
This is #71 NT in the 4th ed of “Camps Australia Wide”. Located on the Stuart Hwy, approx 74k North of Three Ways. It’s not at Renner Springs as suggested in a Badger report. There is a large, fully grassed football (cricket?) sized field with water provided at each delineated caravan site, but no power. There are limited showers and toilets, gents and ladies, and an outdoor laundry (2 washing machines, no dryer, large rotary clothes line). The current managers are Alex and Fiona, and each evening (in the winter season) at 6:30 for ½ hour, Alex presents an exceptional slide show together with an excellent commentary about the history of Banka Banka Station. They have a $3 ($5 for 2) sausage sizzle going from 5:30 to6:30. They are licenced for up to 100 people, this ...

There is a small town with a pub and post office/general store.
There is a small grassed picnic area with campfire in the centre for friendly get togethers.

End of dirt road in Meroo NP.
Next to beach!
Drop toilets.
No water.
Remove your own rubbish. Camping is permitted at Meroo Head. They request that you bring your own firewood (although you are camping in the bush, and this is not enforced) and remove your own rubbish. They also ask to keep stays under 3 weeks, but this is not enforced. You are camping under trees, but it is just a minute or two walk to the beach. Typically very quiet, except around holiday times.
Nearest town with amenities is Ulladulla, about a 20 minute drive north of Meroo. Signs for the camp are not posted.
Directions: From Ulladulla, drive south on Prince's Highway about 15 kms. About 600 meters after Termeil Creek, take your first left. It is an unmarked, unsealed road. About 100 meters up the unsealed road will be a sign for Meroo Head. Drive 3 kms up the road. When it forks, keep to the right. No national park entry fees
No camping fees By cegavin

Just south of Texas from the main street. Goin in a southly direction you can see the camp area on the left hand side of the road.
Water there most of the time, level will vary, not advised to drink. Drinking water in town. Nice quiet spot, well used but plenty of room on the river bank and in the river bed. Be careful of flash flooding in wet season or if rain is forecast.
Toilets are on site but not sure condition. We use our long drop crapper .
Camped there early August 2010.
No Toilets on site.
Toilets, Hot Showers in town centre (Free)

Approximately 5km from Barramunga; long drop toilets; large campground (Parks Victoria records 50 sites); accessible to caravans (though the road in winds somewhat). Short walk to Stevenson's falls. It was full and a little noisy on the long weekend we went (Lake Elizabeth, nearby, is quieter). By Benjamin
